Yuma Firefighter Who Died is Honored throughout Arizona

Yuma, AZ - Yuma Firefighter, Anthony Polk, honored Saturday throughout the state of Arizona after losing his life Friday.

Governor Jan Brewer ordered flags be lowered in honor Polk who was killed when his brush truck rolled over in rough terrain southwest of Tucson.

Authorities say the crash happened while a crew was headed to a 17-hundred acre wildfire near Sells.

 Polk, a 31-year-old engine boss was working for the U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs, which is the agency overseeing management of the fire.

Two other firefighters were also injured in the crash. They were treated and released from a Sells Hospital.
