U.S. Border Patrol Yuma sector announces new deputy chief

Yuma--A local U.S. Border Patrol sector has a new deputy chief.

Eric Odden is now the new deputy chief patrol agent of the Yuma sector.

He brings more than 25 years of operational and strategic level experience.

Odden first started out in the Tucson sector.

Throughout his career Deputy Chief Odden has held a variety of collateral duties to include canine handler and coordinator, commander of the honor guard and peer support.

Odden is a native of Pontiac, Michigan but grew up in the small town of Shelby, Montana. He and his wife have two children and two grandchildren.
