Yuma teacher assaulted, suspects on the loose

YUMA, AZ - Yuma police need the public's help in finding the suspects behind an assault yesterday evening towards a Roosevelt Elementary School teacher.

YPD says two Hispanic teen males approached the 48-year-old victim as she was walking into a building on campus and struck her in the mouth with an object.

The teens are described as 5'7" tall and thin built.

One was wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans.

The second suspect was wearing a red shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Yuma Police at (928) 373- 4700 or 78-CRIME to remain anonymous.
