YUMA, AZ- The Cocopah Indian Tribe donates a generous amount of money to help the war on hunger in Yuma.
Mike Ivers, the President and CEO of the Yuma Community Food Bank, was presented with a $50,000 check by the Tribe To help feed those in need.
The money will be distributed in quarterly payments, which began this month and will go through June 2013.
The tribal council says they are extremely impressed with the work the food bank does serving the hungry in Yuma with 24,436 people in May of 2012.
