Yuma Sheriff’s arrest burglary suspect in Tacna

TACNA, AZ - After investigating a string of burglaries a man is finally behind bars.

The Yuma County Sheriff's Office, along with the assistance of Border Patrol Agents, arrested Wayne Lee Baker in connection to several burglary incidents in the Tacna area.

On Wednesday afternoon, deputies served a search warrant on the 397000 block of Ohio Avenue where they were able to recover some of the stolen property.

All of the items stolen in three separate incidents are estimated at $700.

The 51-year-old was arrested and booked into Yuma County Jail.

He faces several charges for burglary, criminal trespassing, possession of stolen property and trafficking in stolen property.

Baker made his initial court appearance today and is being held on $7,500 bond. He will be back in court July 2, 2012.
