Frank Ruiz began serving 2 year sentence Friday

YUMA, AZ - A Yuma man who pleaded guilty to defrauding AEA Federal Credit Union has begun his prison sentence.

Frank Ruiz turned himself in to the federal bureau of prisons this afternoon.

On April 9, 2012 Ruiz was sentenced to two years in prison for conspiracy and transactional money laundering against AEA.

We're told he was placed in an out of state facility. No word on which one.
