Victim stabbed in El Centro identified

EL CENTRO, CA.- El Centro police have identified the victim in Thursday's stabbing, but an unknown suspect remains on the loose.

They say 23 year old Joseph Marin was stabbed several times in the area of Second Street and Holt Avenue around 2:30 in the afternoon.

Police say Marin was taken to El Centro Regional Medical Center and later flown out to a San Diego area hospital.

Police were unable to talk to him because of his condition.

Anyone with information on the incident is urged to call police at 760-337-4525.
