Vehicle vs. pedestrian collision shuts down 24th Street in Yuma

YUMA, AZ- The Yuma Police Department is investigating a serious collision that sent a pedestrian to the hospital.

YPD says a vehicle collided with a pedestrian on 24th Street near Avenue A around 8:45p.m. Monday.

They say 24th Street between Avenue A and 8th Avenue will be closed for several hours while officers investigate.

No word on the condition of the victim at this time.
