American Red Cross exceeds Yuma blood drive goal

YUMA, AZ - With 50,000 fewer donations than expected, the American Red Cross reached emergency levels this month.

Today, they called on the residents of Yuma for donations and you responded very well.

72 of you answered the call and came out to the Yuma Community Drive to roll up your sleeve for the good of the nation.

The number exceeded the goal that the American Red Cross had set by seven.

The event took place at the Yuma Hampton Inn and Suites from 8am-1pm.
