YUMA, AZ - Not even the holiday stopped one local organization from continuing their efforts to help the Colorado fire victims.
The Yuma Jaycees hosted a fire relief drive today in front of the Big Lots Store on 4th Avenue and 16th Street.
They were there for hours taking donations for the hundreds of displaced families in Colorado who lost everything in the massive fires.
They were taking anything from water, pillows, clothes and money.
Organizers say they will use some of the money donated to buy essentials for all the families and firefighters in Colorado.
The relief efforts don't stop there. Yuma Jaycees will continue taking donations at their club house located at 2277 East County 14th Street.
