YUMA, AZ - All 3,000 customers that lost power during Friday nights electrical storm are back on according to an update posted from APS. KSWT was one of the customers affected by the outage.

The National Weather Service reporting station at MCAS, Yuma shows we had 1.66" of rain since the storm. That is a new one day record according to the NWS for the date. That is also more than half of the rain we get all year on an average. The highest one day record is close to 4 inches.

In the Imperial Valley , El Centro had some wind and rain but escaped any severe weather. Ocotillo and Calipatria did have severe weather warnings and some areas saw winds in excess of 60 miles an hour. The National Weather Service says there were no confirmed reports of any tornadoes.  There were some reports of flooding in Winterhaven later Friday evening.

We are watching the conditions today and KSWT Chief Meteorologist Garry Frank says we could see some storms in some areas but he doesn't expect the same kind of day we saw Friday.
