Yuma--A local airport receives a grant for construction of a much needed facility for its customers.
The Arizona Department of Transportation granted the Yuma International Airport a total of $180,000 for construction of public restrooms within the airport's secured area.
This means that customers won't have to wait in line and go through security again after use the restrooms outside the secure area.
"Adding restrooms to the secured area within the airport terminal has been a project that we wanted to provide for customers for such a long time," Jen Grosse, Yuma International Airport spokeswoman. "We're really thrilled that ADOT came forward with this additional money."
