YUMA, AZ - Yuma County residents have a little more than a week to register to vote for the upcoming primary election.
The deadline to register passes at midnight on Monday, July 30, 2012.
Voter officials from the county warn that missing this deadline to register will mean forfeiting your eligibility to vote on primary election day, Tuesday, August 28, 2012.
All registration forms must be turned into the recorder's office at least 29 days prior to an election.
Registration forms are available in the: libraries, post offices, elections department and county recorder's office.
Residents may also register online at servicearizona.com.
County Elections Officials remind you to check to make sure your voting information, especially your mailing address, is up to date.
Any registered voter may vote at any one of the 11 voting centers.
