AV-8B Harrier
YUMA , AZ - A Marine Attack Training Squadron 203 pilot safely ejected from an AV-8B Harrier prior to crashing approximately 15 miles Northwest of Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., July 25. This is according to public affairs at MCAS.
MCAS Yuma Search and Rescue has picked up the pilot, who has been transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center for observation. Crash Fire Rescue has been dispatched to the scene for recovery of the aircraft.
The cause of the incident is currently under investigation at this time. KSWT News 13 is on the scene and is updating the situation as new information comes in.
