5 tons of food donated to food banks in Yuma & Blythe

Yuma/Blythe - It was part of their "Feds Feed Families" Food Drive.

During the friendly competition the Blythe Station donated more than 4,600 pounds. Yuma station contributed over 2,300 pounds and the Wellton station pitched in nearly 2,000 Pounds. The Sector Headquarters pulled in more than 1,000.

Yuma and Blythe food banks will distribute the nearly 5 tons of food donations, which is equivalent to 7,700 meals.

Yuma Sector Chief Patrol Agent Stephen S. Martin expressed his pride in his team's efforts to provide food to the less fortunate throughout the Sector's area of operations.
