LOS ANGELES, CA - Marilyn Monroe's life is remembered and celebrated on the 50th anniversary of her death.

Sunday fans, friend and family gathered at the iconic star's pink marble grave site at pierce brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park in Los Angeles.

The blonde bombshell remains one of the best recognized movie stars in the world.
