Woman Struck by Train near Indio Dies

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA- A woman has been struck and killed by a freight train near the border of Coachella and Indio.

The riverside County Sheriff's investigators say the train struck the woman on the Union Pacific tracks just before dawn Wednesday.

Authorities says that the woman's name and age are unknown.
