YUMA, AZ.- Trial began Wednesday for a Yuma man accused of storming through his former work place with a machete.

In March 2010, Yuma police say Vincent Arroyo Jr. went to Associated Citrus on Main Street where he threatened his former co-workers with the large knife after being fired.

Arroyo is on trial charged with four counts of attempted first degree murder along with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

He has been in jail since March 9, 2010 on a cash only bond of $1 million.

Arroyo's fate lies in the hands of a jury.

No word on how long the trial is expected to last.
