YUMA, AZ - The woman accused of giving her ten month old baby amphetamine has been charged with three felony counts.
Maria Robles appeared in Yuma Justice Court this afternoon where she was charged with two counts of child abuse and one count of endangerment.
She was arrested earlier this week after her baby was transported to a Phoenix hospital from Yuma Regional Medical Center for what was first believed to be a scorpion bite.
The baby later tested positive for amphetamine and ecstasy.
Yuma Police says Robles admitted to officers using illegal drugs and exposing them to her child.
Her bond was also changed to $250,000 cash only.
She will be back in court next week.
