Yuma Border Patrol agents catch group of Romanians illegally entering the U.S. from Mexico

YUMA, AZ- A group of Romanians are caught illegally crossing into the U.S. from Mexico.

It happened Wednesday around 10 p.m.

Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents detained 20 Romanians shortly after they entered the United States.

They say 10 of them were under the age of 18.

Border Patrol says 5 of the adults remain in custody awaiting prosecution for illegally crossing.

They say the other 5 adults and 10 children were released on their own recognizance's and will face deportation proceedings.
