Calipatria State Prison Officers Arrest Female Visitor

CALIPATRIA, CA - A woman visiting prison is now behind bars herself.

Cal Pat officials say on Saturday afternoon they arrested 25-year-old Vanessa Barrios after finding a cell phone SIM card in her possession while she was being processed to visit an inmate. Cell phones and SIM cards are prohibited on prison grounds..

Prison sources say barrios consented to a search and officers found 39 grams of marijuana inside her car.

She was arrested and taken to imperial county jail for processing
