YUMA, AZ - An attempted homicide suspect ends up in the hospital following a crash after leading Yuma County Sheriff Deputies on a pursuit Sunday night.

YCSO says they responded to a domestic dispute at a Yuma home on the 10800 block of South Somerton Avenue and found a victim with a stab wound.

They say she told them the suspect, Travis White, fled from the home in a car.

He was spotted by sheriff deputies soon after near 12th Street and Avenue B.

YCSO says he failed to pull over during a traffic stop and a pursuit ensued.

They say the chase ended after white crashed near Martinez Lake.

The 26-year-old was ejected from the car and was seriously injured. He was transported to a Phoenix hospital.

The victim was treated for a stab wound at Yuma Regional Medical Center and later released.

The case remains under investigation.
