El Centro police investigate morning stabbing

EL CENTRO, CA.- The El Centro Police Department is investigating a stabbing.

It happened Monday morning around 10:30 on the 600 block of Olive Avenue.

Police say a 20 year old man from Imperial was stabbed in his upper body during a fight.

They say he was taken to the hospital for treatment.

ECPD says the victim and witnesses are not being cooperative with the investigation.

They believe at least 2 male attackers fled the area on foot.

ECPD encourages anyone with information on this incident to contact them. They want to remind you that you can remain anonymous when calling in tips.
