San Luis-A drug tunnel discovered last month near a shopping center in San Luis is now being filled with concrete.
Contractors hired by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials are using specialized equipment to locate the exact position of the tunnel and then pump the concrete inside.
Spencer Tippets, Border Patrol spokesman for the Yuma sector said the process could take about a week.
Officials said the tunnel, which runs 60 feet deep and nearly 755 feet in length, is one of the most sophisticated they have seen.
