Rollover in Winterhaven Traps Three Saturday

WINTERHAVEN, CA - Three people are trapped inside a vehicle after it rolled Saturday afternoon on Interstate 8.

Just after 12 a white SUV rolled on Interstate 8 and Algodones Road in Winterhaven.

Fire crews say three people had to be extricated and three others were able to get out on their own. They say all six were transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center for minor injuries.

Rural Metro, and the Yuma Fire Department were on scene to assist the Winterhaven Fire Department.

CHP is investigating the accident.
