El Centro Police arrest a man and woman after barricaded situation

EL CENTRO, CA - An El Centro man is arrested after a two hour standoff with police.

El Centro Police says Cain Arreola hid in the attic of a home on the 800 block of El Dorado Avenue while officers attempted to serve a search warrant last night.

ECPD also arrested a 19 year-old woman without incident.

During the search warrant, officer found more than seven grams of heroin, which was measured out and packaged for sale, and $1,700 in cash.

ECPD also seized items which they say are used to weighing and packaging drugs.

Both suspects were booked into Imperial County Jail and are facing drug charges.

Arreola remains in custody on $100,000 bond.

The 19-year-old woman is also behind bars on $15,000 bond.
