Two arrested for gun and drugs charges in El Centro

EL CENTRO, CA - Two men are behind bars after police say they were loitering and displaying a firearm.

El Centro Police says they were called out to the 400 block of South Fifth Street just after 11pm and found three men standing near a truck parked under a carport.

During their investigation they arrested 20-year-old Alan Fuentes for having a loaded gun under his clothing and then placing it in the truck bed.

They also arrested 53-year-old Robert Romero for possession of narcotics.

The third person was released without any charges.

Both Fuentes and Romero were booked into Imperial County Jail.
