EL CENTRO, CA.- A former California Highway Patrol Lieutenant was back in court Tuesday.

John Swaim is accused of sexual misconduct with a minor more than a decade ago.

Trial was suppose to begin next week, however the defense requested the date be pushed back.

The judge now set jury selection and trial for January 2013.

Tuesday's hearing was the first time a media camera request in this case was granted by the judge. News 13's cameras were the only ones rolling.
