Hector Jesus ZamoraRIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA.- A former Holtville police officer pleads guilty to possession of child pornography.
Hector Jesus Zamora was arrested in November 2011 after Riverside County officials say they found two dozen images on his computer, which they believed to be child pornography.
They say Zamora was in some of the photos with possibly underage girls.
Officials believed the pictures were about ten years old and might have been taken during Zamora's time at the Holtville Police Department.
After leaving the valley in the early 2000's, Zamora moved to Temecula, CA where the investigation came about.
Zamora plead guilty to one count of possession of child pornography last month.
He was sentenced to serve 180 days of work release, three years of probation and counseling.
Zamora must also register as a sex offender.
