EL CENTRO, CA.- Two men have been arrested in connection to a carjacking.

It happened Tuesday morning in the area of Imperial Avenue and Ocotillo Drive.

The El Centro Police Department says a 49 year old female from Imperial was held at gunpoint by a white adult male who then stole her 2008 Toyota Tundra truck and headed north through the parking lot of a nearby medical arts complex.

ECPD says an officer patrolling a mobile home park in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue later that morning spotted

the stolen truck in the parking area.

Police say the person driving the truck was in one of the mobile homes. They say several men in the home were questioned. The victim was taken to the mobile home park, where she identified one of the men as the suspected carjacker.

24 year old Dustin Knight, who lives in the mobile home park, was arrested for carjacking.

31 year old Patrick Dermody was also later arrested for carjacking. Police say he wasn't at the scene of the carjacking but he was caught sitting in the vehicle afterwards.

Knight and Dermody are currently in custody at the Imperial County Jail.

Their being held on $100,000.00 bond.
