Largest Freefall Wind Tunnel Going up at YPG

Yuma County, AZ - It is being called the world's largest vertical wind tunnel and ground was broken for it Wednesday morning at Yuma Proving Ground.

The two-story tall vertical wind tunnel will be used by YPG's Military Freefall School to enhance training of elite paratroopers from all branches of the U.S. military. It will boast enough room to accommodate eight freefall students simultaneously and is scheduled for completion late next year.
