Undocumented man sentenced for illegally re-entering the U.S.

YUMA, AZ - Border Patrol officials in Yuma say an undocumented Mexican national arrested in May has been sentenced to more than four years in prison for illegally re-entering the U.S. after being deported.

Sergio Tambo-Canedo was arrested near San Luis.

Agents discovered he had previously been arrested 11 times by Border Patrol.

The 36-year-old has also been convicted of sexual abuse of a minor.
