Yuma--Years ago, if you read a banned book you could be thrown in jail.
This week, the Yuma County Library is celebrating our freedom to read.
It's "Banned Books Week" and you still have time to celebrate.
The Yuma County Library District invites you to celebrate by reading once-controversial books, historically at risk of being removed from library shelves.
If you would like to read those books for yourself, drop by the Yuma County Library and "serve time" in their mock jail cell while you read the book.
