10th Annual Getting Arizona Involved In Neighborhoods

YUMA, AZ - Hundreds were at the Yuma Palms mall Saturday for the 10th Annual Getting Arizona Involved in Neighborhoods event, also referred to as G.A.I.N.

The event is designed to encourage neighborhood watch programs and bring the community together.

The event was free to the public and gave people the opportunity to interact with everyone from first responders to the Military from both Yuma and Imperial County.

A number of county agencies and organizations also participated. Plus several agencies brought out some of their equipment for the public to see.

G.A.I.N is also a day for the police to show their appreciation for those in the community that support their efforts in the day to day fight against crime.
