YUMA, AZ - The Cesar Chavez Foundation and Nuestro Rio will kick off Hispanic Heritage month with a tribute to Chavez.
Latino leaders from across the Desert Southwest will attend.
They'll spotlight the cultural importance of the Colorado River to Latinos including Chavez.
The event takes place this Wednesday, October 10, 2012 from 12pm-1:30pm at the Yuma Hilton Garden.
The address is 321 North Madison Avenue. Lunch will be served.
