YUMA, AZ- A man is sentenced to 12 years in prison for attempted first degree murder.
Camilo Zantoyo plead guilty to a stabbing at a Yuma car wash 8 months ago.
Yuma County Superior Court Judge David Haws handed down the sentence Wednesday morning.
On February 25, Yuma police say Zantoyo approached 73 year old Jose Ramirez-Pichardo at the Speedway Car Wash on 8th Street and stabbed him in the chest.
He was arrested April 5 and has been behind bars ever since.
Judge Haws credited Zantoyo for 188 days served.
