I-8 Roadwork Near Winterhaven Overnight

Winterhaven, CA - Eastbound Interstate 8 at the Winterhaven Drive will be closed Thursday and Friday night according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).

The nightly closures from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. are needed for bridge work.  Detours are in place. The work started Thursday overnight.

Motorists are reminded to slow and move over a lane if safe when highway workers are present and displaying amber lights on their vehicles.
