Wanted murder suspect arrested in El Centro

EL CENTRO, CA - A wanted murder suspect is now in police custody.

El Centro Police say they arrested Jesus Felipe Cesena Thursday night in the 600 block of Commercial Avenue in El Centro.

The 30-year-old was wanted in connection with the murder of Rey Montano.

Montano was fatally stabbed in the 700 block of Woodward Avenue in August.

ECPD says Cesena was found hiding in an apartment building closet.

He will be booked into Imperial County Jail and held on $1 million bond.
