Yuma Police Investigating Deadly Downtown Shooting Behind Jimmy Dee's

Yuma, AZ - Yuma police remain on scene of a deadly shooting early this morning in a public parking area behind Jimmy Dee's Bar. Police just released this information.

On Friday, October 12th, 2012, at about 1:00 am, officers were dispatched to Jimmie Dee's Bar located at 38 W. 2^nd St. in reference to a disturbance in the parking lot. Upon arrival officers found a male subject with a gunshot wound. The subject was transported to YRMC where he was pronounced deceased.

Police are combing the back parking lot for evidence now that it is daylight. Madison Ave from 1^st Street to 2^nd Street remains closed this morning.
