Somerton Boys & Girls club receives $10,000 donation

SOMERTON, AZ - Paying the bills is a little easier today at one local organization after getting a much needed donation.

The Regional Center for Border Health donated $10,000 to the Somerton Boys and Girls Club.

The check was presented during the Somerton City Council meeting Tuesday night.

Everyone in attendance expressed gratitude for the generous donation.

Officials with the Regional Center for Border Health say this is a great investment in our youth. In return the center received a "thank you" card from the Boys and Girls Club.
