Yuma Police investigate possible kidnapping

Yuma-Yuma police are investigating a possible kidnapping.

They said it happened around 2:15p.m. Monday near the 200-block of South 6th Avenue.

Police said a witness in the area saw a man and a woman arguing.

The woman tried to run from the man, but he chased her and forced her into a car.

The woman is described as Hispanic and in her 20's.

She's about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 190 pounds.

She has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a red shirt and jean overalls.

The man described as Hispanic, between 35 and 40 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing about 160 pounds.

He has brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a brown or green polo shirt and jeans.

YPD said the car he was driving is most likely to be a Dodge Magnum with heavily tinted windows.

They said it was last seen heading towards first street.

Anyone with information should call Yuma police at 373-4700 or 78-crime to remain anonymous.
