Rollover crash into Yuma levee, one woman arrested

YUMA, AZ - Local police are investigating a single-car rollover near a levee.

Yuma Police responded to a car accident at about 1:45pm half a mile east of the Yuma Territorial Prison, near the Levee Road.

They say the driver failed to control the car and fell into the levee.

Several people were inside the 2000 Grand Jeep Cherokee at the time.

Police say the people inside ran away after the car rolled into the levee, but one woman is currently in custody.

No injuries were reported.

Police are currently investigating the incident.
