CBP officers in Calexico arrest convicted killer

CALEXICO, CA - A convicted killer is back in custody after attempting to illegally re-enter the U.S.

Border Patrol says the 50-year-old man was caught trying to sneak back in near Calexico.

He was convicted of second degree murder in the U.S. in 1989 and was sentenced to eight years in prison but before completing his sentence, he was deported back to Mexico.
