SAN LUIS, AZ - A Mexican man is in custody for trying to smuggle in more than a quarter of a million dollars in drugs through the San Luis Port of Entry.

Federal authorities say Nester Martinez-Noriega, of San Luis Rio Colorado, was arrested Tuesday after U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers found 30 pounds of cocaine hidden in his pick-up truck worth $275,000.

The 52-year-old was turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Both the drugs and the car were seized.
