IMPERIAL VALLEY, CA - We are just over one week away from the general elections.
Local county officials are reminding everyone to turn in their mail-in ballots as soon as possible.
The Imperial County Registrar of Voter's Office says out of more than 25,000 ballots sent out, they have received less than 2,000 back.
They say it's crucial to mail-in your ballots before October 31, 2012 so they can process them before Election Day.
You can drop off your ballots at any City Clerk's Office in the county.
All ballots must be in by 8pm on November 6, 2012.
