Guide Dogs for the Blind Train in Yuma

YUMA, AZ -Guide dogs for the blind sharpened up on their skills in Yuma Saturday.

Guide Dog Puppy Raisers of Yuma hosted a training event for over 100 fellow raisers of guide dogs from Arizona and California.

Over 60 dogs ranging from 4 to 15 months were at the Quarter Master Depot brushing up on their skills on a multi station course.

Each station exposes the dogs to experiences and situations they might encounter as a partner to a blind person.
