YPD is investigating a drive by shooting: Suspect on the loose

Yuma, AZ- YPD says officers responded to a call for shots fired near the area of 5th street and 10th avenue at 3am. The suspect is on the loose.

During the investigation it was determined that victim's identified Tyre HENDRIX, 21 YOA of Yuma, as the shooter who fired three to five shots; a short pursuit by the Yuma County Sheriff's Deputies ensued in which T. HENDRIX exited his vehicle, a brown or tan sedan, and it entered the water in the 2400 block of the West Main Canal. T. HENDRIX then fled the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. YPD Investigation Bureau was notified and assumed the investigation. T. HENDRIX is currently wanted for questioning in this case.
