Yuma initiative aimed at boosting local economy

YUMA, AZ - Community businesses are learning more about the city they live in in hopes of boosting the local economy.

Dozens attended the Yuma 101 workshop today put on by the Yuma Visitor's Bureau.

Yuma 101 is a new initiative aimed at educating local businesses about what there is to see and enjoy in Yuma in hopes of passing the message to visitors.

Officials with the visitor's bureau say knowing about what Yuma has to offer will help boost the local economy.

For more information they invite you to visit their offices located at the Quarter Master Depot at 201 North 4th Avenue.
