Collision between YCAT bus and car sends person to hospital

Yuma--Police are investigating a crash between a car and a local bus transportation company.

The collision happened on 24th street and 21st drive in Yuma around 10am Thursday.

The wreck involved a YCAT bus and a Honda Accord.

Yuma police said the 42-year old woman driving the Honda was cited for failure to obey the no left turn sign and failure to control the car.

The YCAT bus driver complained of back pain and was transported to the hospital.

Two adult passengers on the bus did not have any injuries.
