YUMA, AZ- A man is behind bars for discharging a firearm.
The Yuma County Sheriff's Office says 50-year old Terry Dean Cordero-Torres fired several shotgun blasts in the area of 855 S. George Belle Avenue late Sunday night.
They say someone called in to report the shots fired. When deputies arrived to the area, the person who notified them of what was going on, saw Cordero-Torres armed with a weapon and yelling "get down".

The Yuma County Sheriff's Office Special Response Team (SRT) and Crisis Management Unit (CMU) were notified and responded to the scene. Upon their arrival, the CMU made contact with Cordero-Torres and were able to talk him out of the trailer.
He was booked into the Yuma County Adult Detention Center on charges of endangerment and disorderly conduct.
YCSO says Cordero-Torres shot the window out of his residence. They say there was also some minor damage to an adjacent trailer.
Deputies found the weapon involved inside Cordero-Torres' residence. It was seized for evidence.
Cordero-Torres will make his initial court appearance Monday afternoon.
